What’s the cost and what does it include?
Ticket price per person: $80 early bird (Now extended to September) 1. Includes dinner and appetizers, music and dancing, photographer, prizes and keepsakes, and a reunion program guide.
Can I help sponsor the reunion or place an ad?
Yes. Sponsorships and program advertisements help make the reunion a one-of-a-kind, first-class event while keeping ticket prices attractive. The link at bottom explains the assorted opportunities. You are living on a boat in Fiji and can’t make the reunion? That’s OK. Place an ad and let everyone know about it! Sponsor & Advertise
What’s for dinner?
Three entrées, various salads, vegetables, starches, breads, pasta, and dessert (compliments of classmate Ernie Mittelstrass). Buffet style. Final Menu to be published soon.
Is there a cash bar?
Yes. Tito’s Vodka, Crown Royal Whiskey, Jack Daniels Bourbon, Bacardi Rum, Captain Morgan’s Spiced Rum, Jose Cuervo Tequila, Dewars Scotch, Bombay Sapphire Gin, Bailey’s Irish Cream, Kahlua, Peach Schnapps; beer selection including Labatt Blue Light and Stella Artois; premium house wines; Coke products. Pricing: $6 mixed drinks, $4 beer/wine, $2 Coke products, $1 juice/soda water/tonic. Tip bartenders as you wish.
How do I register and pay?
Register online at Register & Pay. Payment is by credit card. Tickets and purchase receipts will be e-mailed or texted linked to you.
What’s the registration deadline?
July 1 for the early bird discounted price. After that date, food counts, seating, or pricing may not be guaranteed.
Can I cancel my order if I can’t make it?
Yes. Full refund before Sept 5. E-mail cancellation request to truman76reunion@gmail.com. After Sept 5, we cannot guarantee a refund, but please contact us.
What should I wear?
Dress is elegantly comfortable. If that means a tux, sport jacket, cocktail dress, or your favorite jeans, we want you there!
Will there be assigned seating?
No. Seating is open. Arrive early if you’d like to sit with others.
Will there be a class photo?
Yes! A group photo will be taken at 6:30 PM. There will be a roving photographer, and photos will be available online afterward, with purchase options.
Will there be music and dancing?
Yes — music from our era plus favorites from every decade since. Tip: there could be a pop-up dance contest.
Are there lodging suggestions?
Yes. We’ve secured discounted rates at Home2 Suites by Hilton Taylor Detroit for September 17–19.

Deadline to book: August 17, to get the special rate you must book 2 nights but you can add additional nights at the same rate. The rates are $149 for a King Suite (normally $242) and $159 for 2 Queens Suite (normally $247). Let us know if you run into any issue with bookings.
Will food allergies or dietary needs be accommodated?
Yes. When you register online, a text field is available to enter any vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, or other dietary needs.
Can I bring photos or memorabilia for a memory table?
Yes. We will have a memory table with a Memoriam board with the class pictures honoring classmates we know that have passed. Also, another table for fun throwback items like old class photos, yearbooks, & news clippings. Please label items you want returned.
Will there be a slideshow?
Yes! Send yesteryear and/or present photos to truman76reunion@gmail.com. Include names, approx. year, and captions.
Any organized activities for the next day?
Yes. From 1 to 4 PM we reserved Kudos - a fun space for catching up with friends. The venue is next to the hotel.
